  • Are seams invisible?

Seams in any stone countertop are not invisible, however, they are unobtrusive, very narrow, and nearly completely smooth to the touch.

  • Which is better? Granite, quartz or marble?

That is a personal choice. Each one has their own benefits:

    • Quartz is non-porous, therefore more hygienic
    • Marble, while pretty, is soft and porous, which makes it prone to damage and staining
    • Granite is durable and requires sealing but is very difficult to stain if it is maintained properly
  • Will my existing plumbing work?

There is always a possibility but the issues lie within the drain inlet under the sink. Sometimes, the drain inlets are too high for the newer, deeper sinks. We will always check drain heights during our site survey.

  • Can I re-use my faucet?

It is not recommended to re-use a faucet. It will likely leak or have a build up that causes problems.

  • What is the template?

The template is a digital pattern that is made of your existing countertop. It gets sent to a computer, which assists with design work, then is converted into a file used for the work. Once this process is complete, no changes or additions can be made to your kitchen.

  • Will my cabinets or floor support the weight?

Stone countertops weigh nearly 20 pounds per square foot and they will be spread out over a large area. They will be able to support the weight.

  • Is quartz cheaper than granite?

Quartz pricing does start a bit more expensive than granite as they have different price points based on design. Prices will look similar the deeper into it you go.
